Public Choice: A Different Approach to the Study of Public Administration
This is a public choice theory article, through that (along with other writings, especially Vincent Ostrom’s book Intellectual Crisis of Public Administration) challenged the traditional paradigms of public administration and powerfully introduced market ideology to replace the Basic Assumptions of the field. It also helped set the foundations of what has since become what we know as NPM, corporatization, commercialization, and marketization of public service and administration and of the world through self interest individualism and market supremacy. -Editorial Board
